He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lewis and Marjorie Ellen Woodley (Grate). He is survived by: his children, Dana Woodley (Greg) of Marco Island, FL, Gina Ferwerda (Ted) of Silver Lake, MI and Damon Riggs of Hart, MI; his sister Betty Sue Carnes (John); his grandchildren, Cody, Logan, Andrea, Ariana and Isabelle; and his great grandchildren, Cora and Gray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fighting Diamond Foundation (http://www.fightingdiamond.org). Additionally, in honor of Leo's final wishes, those who are able are encouraged to donate blood and platelets—a cause close to his heart, as transfusions were his lifeline in his final year.
