He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold C. Walborn and Thelma Louise Polk Walborn; his wife Nancy Josephine Nims of Hart; his children, Nanette Meteer Purdy, Melissa Sonksen (Craig) and Warren Walborn (Liezel); and his siblings, Margaret and Brian (Ruth Walborn). He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
