It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold Hines Jr. of Harsens Island, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Albertine Hines, Sr.; his son Michael Hines; his sister Albertine White; and his daughter-in-law Julie Hines.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Carlin (Ken), Chuck Hines, Sandy Essian (Anthony) and David Hines (Jane Fischer); the mother of his children Catherine Fontana; his sister Geraldine Bramos; his brother-in-law Ronald Pocius; and his stepchildren, Kenneth Lopata (Jeanna) and Lynn Lopata. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Harsens Island Lions Club or the Detroit Rescue Mission, Detroit.
