He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement W. Skiba and Marie Skiba (Olejniczak); his wives, Dorothy Adams and Lynda Saker; his daughters, Nancy Kowalewski, Lisa Irvin, Marie Barylski and Karen Richter; and his brother Carl Skiba.

He is survived by: his daughter Joan Whitfield (Michael); his stepson Michael Messerschmidt; and his siblings, Carole Wright (John) and Clement Skiba. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
