He was predeceased by: his parents, George Emerick and Grace Mary Emerick (Apsey); his sister Charlotte Hilts; his brother-in-law Dick Hilts; and his niece Pam Gipson.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Emerick (Weinberg); his daughters, Kathy Thompson (Randy), Anita Emerick and Susan Maturen (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jessica Hood (Jeremy), Michael Thompson (Laura), Madison Roncelli (Skip), London Grodzicki (Alex), Joshua Maturen (Brooke), Jeremy Maturen (Amber) and Rebekah Maturen. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gillies Funeral Home (104 W Alger St, Lincoln, MI 48742).
