He was predeceased by: his parents, Edsel Holmes and Evelyn Holmes (Locklin); and his sister-in-law Betty Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Christy Wilson; his children, Ronda Schrade (Larry) and Robert Travis (April); his stepsons, Jon Deller (Sam) and Mike Deller (Kim); his grandchildren, Kyle Schrade, Kyle Thum, Emma Travis, Dylan, Riley, Eden, Ella, Austin, Owen and Luke Deller; and his brother Gary Holmes.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gillies Funeral Home (104 W Alger St, Lincoln, MI 48742). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
