She is survived by: her husband John W. Townsend; her children, Erven Johnston, Darrell Johnston (Michelle), Danny Johnston (Laura), Keith Townsend (Sandra) and Ruth Wright (Dan); her stepchildren, Andrew Townsend (Laura) and Carmen Merrell (Jim); and her siblings, Christine Kelly, Reva Sweeney, Alton, Melvin and Cecil Allen. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
