He is survived by: his significant other Verla; his daughter Susan Carrier; his son-in-law Richard Smith; his grandchildren, Joseph Carrier, Kathy Hanna (Bill), David Smith (Angela) and Brian Smith (Deanna); and his great grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph, Jared, Rebecca, Brandon, Rachael, Olivia, Chloe and Celeste.
