He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bethel Smith and Denetta Smith (Schultz); his wife Krisha Wyns; his children, Neil Smith, Nikole Smith, Ryan Smith (Jeanette), Erika Rice (Kiel) and Karsen Smith; his grandchildren, Austin Compton (Kaitlyn), Maddison Compton, Devin, Cuyler, Stella, Harrison, Josie Smith, Sophie, Lucy and Gemma Rice; his great grandchild Oliver Tebby; and his siblings, Lee, Bethel, Kevin Smith, Dixie Winters, Darlene Cardwell, Delores Stevens and Phyllis Summers. He was also cherished by father and grandfather.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Alpena Cancer Center.
