She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Scheenks and Theresa Scheenks (Washe); her husband Daniel Bendig; and her siblings, Sharon Brooks, Albert Scheenks and Carl Scheenks.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Bendig (Jennifer) of Mancelona and Julie Bendig (John Swanberg) of Cadillac; and her siblings, Barbara Smith of Virginia, Pattie Elliot of Michigan, Renee McMahon of Florida, Adam Scheenks of Michigan and Michael Scheenks of North Carolina. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
