He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray McPherson and Olive McPherson (Kivel); his daughter Marsha Johnston; his siblings, Alice Kern, Betty McPherson, Vera Gamble, Mel McPherson, Don McPherson and Lynn McPherson; and his grandson Steven Rucker.
He is survived by: his former wife Agnes June Gamble; his wife Agnes June McPherson of Harrison; his children, Joan A. Brown (Daniel) of Lake, Debra Rix (William) of Houghton Lake, Lois Stark of Port Huron, Donald McPherson of Port Huron, Jeff McPherson (Tammie) and Port Huron; and his sister Helen Brown of Port Huron. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
