She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Forgie; her children, Elizabeth and David Telfer; her siblings, Una Pascoe, Marian Megroet and William Forgie; and her nephew Bruce Forgie.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Telfer (Cindy) and John Lakatos Jr. (Dedra); her daughter-in-law Karen Telfer; her grandchildren, Candice Flor (Rainer), Rachel Lesniak (Rob) and Joseph Lakatos; her stepgrandson Eric Biggs (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Logan Lesniak, Evan and Cameron Biggs.
