She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Nichol and Lila Nichol (Welton); her stepmother Cora Nichol; and her siblings, Phyllis Rainsberger, Janice, Elizabeth Ann Marie (Kathleen), Nelson Nichol, Alva Nichol (Sonny) and Gary Nichol.
She is survived by: her spouse Leslie Hoyt; her son Ken Hoyt (Debbie) of Harrison, MI; her grandson Ken Hoyt, Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI.; her siblings, Patti Sanders (Gary), James Nichol and Bill Nichol; and her sister-in-law Jane Nichol. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations in her memory can be made to Hope Baptist Church in Harrison, MI or to the North Woods Nursing Center Activities Department in Farwell, MI.
