He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marcus and Goldie Pearl Swartout; and his sisters, Gloria Jean Serafin-Swartout and Linda LaVina Morrison. He is survived by: his son Jangles; his wife Stacey Swartout; his daughter Quincy Swartout; and his sister Julie Washburn (Lance) of Farmington Hills.

All memorial gifts will be used to purchase winter clothing for community school students, as Marc loved to support his local community and businesses with donations..
