He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Petty Jr. and Florence Lucille Petty (Baker); and his brother Lynn Petty. He is survived by: his wife Betty Petty (Pennington); his children, Brian Petty, Phil Petty, Larry Dugan (Wendy), Kathy Burleson and Roxie Hawks (Dale); his sisters, Lucille Woodard and Valerie Tippett; his grandchildren, Donn Davis, Euri Garcia, Alissa Roth, Ferris Dugan, Danielle Hawks, Alec Dugan, Hannah Kloc, Zachary Hawks, Ian Klaus, Shaun Klaus and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Rhiannon, Haidynn, Lynley, Peyton, Lawrence and Audrey; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by animals and children.
