He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene Cox and Evajane Cox (McKnight); his pet Bella; and his brothers, Don Cox, Harold Cox, Woody Cox and Bill Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Angie Martha Pileggi; his children, Joe Cox (Kim) of Harrison and Patty Root (Ota) of Harrison; his grandchildren, Judy Cox of Sanford, Deatta Root-Pyle of Harrison and Jessica Cox of Harrison; and his great grandchild Mason Chancy Root-Pyle of Harrison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
