He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Eugene Armstrong and Margaret Armstrong (Daignault); and his brothers, Michael, Terrance and Richard Armstrong.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette K. Armstrong of Harrison; his children, Terri Reams (Dan) of Saginaw Township and James D. Armstrong of Coatsville; his grandchildren, Hannah Reams and Steven Armstrong; his siblings, Mary Armstrong (Harvey Clark) of Alma, Barb Jaye (Mike) of Rhode Island, Theresa Hall (Jeff) of Traverse City, Cathy Goodwine (Craig) of California, Dan Armstrong of Chicago, John Armstrong (Pat) of Hemlock and Raymond Armstrong (Lorie) of Wauseon; and his pets, Prince and Buffy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
