With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy J. Plonkey (Harrison, Michigan), born in Rogers City, Michigan, who passed away on October 26, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Smith and Hazel Smith. She is survived by: her husband Donald R. Plonkey; her children, Ted Plonkey (Margie) and Donna Parkhurst (Kevin); her grandchildren, Beth Morenski (Adam), Erica Wright (John), Ted Parkhurst (Mia) and Zachary Parkhurst; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Everette, Thatcher, Orren Wright, Debra and Kane Morenski; and her siblings, Norman Smith, Ruth Catalano (Suzi Langlois), Hazen Smith, Norma Smith, Berna Alke, Lila Farley, Mel Smith and Robert Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
