He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Viers and Carrie Viers (Mullins); and his siblings, Irene Ward, Louis Viers, Raymond Viars, Leck Viers and Francis Viers.
He is survived by: his wife Joye Viars; his children, Clifford Dewey Viars, Kimberly Elaine, Jim, Passmore and Robin Rene'Viars Helsel (Ricky); his grandchildren, Heather, Michelle, Wade of Shawn, DJ, Kevin, Rachel, Cody and Travis; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Viers and Jesse Viers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
