He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Redrick Bailey and Zelda Bailey (Ankney). He is survived by: his former wife Linda Lee Brown; his wife Linda Lee Bailey of Harrison; and his children, Nicole Mazzola (Rob) of Dearborn Heights, Kristen Bailey (Mike) of Harrison, Patty Rizzi of Southgate, Cheryl Keathley of Wyandotte, Renee Carr (Jim) of Trenton, John Bailey (Cindy) of Melvindale, Carl Bailey (Lynn) of New Hudson, David Bailey of Garden City and Philip Bailey of Lincoln Park. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, plus a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
