She is survived by: her husband Bert Challender; her children, Bonnie L. Sant-Hakes (Tom Hakes) of Harrison, Kathy Barnett (Dan) of Potterville and Milford Challender (Kelley) of Alma; her son-in-law Robert Shafley (Dawn) of Holt; and her siblings, Sylvia DeWeese (Robert) of Grand Rapids and Daryl Smith (Sheila) of Bath.
