She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Britton and Nancy Britton (Bullock). She is survived by: her husband Walter Newman Sr.; and her children, Nancy Murray (Dennis), Arkie Newman, Russell Harris Jr. and Walter Newman Jr. (Helen). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one sister, four brothers and many nieces and nephews.
