He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Sr. Piltz and Anna Piltz; his wife Barbara Marten; and his sisters, Pam Sirko and Sandi Meyer. He was also cherished by daughter, granddaughters, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The lying in state was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Faustina Catholic Church (14025 Twelve Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48088). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
