He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva VanSickle and Eleanor VanSickle. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Rostow; his children, Robert VanSickle Jr., Shelly VanSickle, Tracy Geisler (Dave) and Sean VanSickle; his grandchildren, Danielle Iadipaolo, Chelsea Cox (Ben), John Iadipaolo and Alexis VanSickle; his great grandchild Ella Braun; his brother Russell VanSickle (Sharon); and his nephew Jeff VanSickle (Andrea). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The American Heart Association.
