It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita C. Stevens (Harrison Township, Michigan), who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Detroit Police Officer and Genevieve Kapuscinski; her brother Major League Baseball; her spouse Thomas Stevens; her son Todd (Laura); her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Claire; her brother Thaddeus "Ted" Kapuscinski (late Joan); and her nieces and nephews, Michael Kapuscinski, Katie Tomlian, Margaret "Peggy" Kwiatkowski and Thaddeus "Cookie" Jr. Kapuscinski.
