With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Laverty of Harrison Township, Michigan, born in Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on July 26, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Laverty and Dorothy Wilding Yurko. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cox; his daughters, Julie Verstraete (Eric) and Jill Keelan (Michael); his grandchildren, Alexis, Ryan, Victoria (David) and Amanda; and his great grandchildren, Lydia and Jacqueline. He is also survived by three brothers, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be addressed to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
