He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Krause and Ida Kathryn Krause; and his brother Richard "Dick" T. Krause. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Marie Foley; his daughters, Christine Krause (John Bean) and Shauna Krause-Bullen (Robert); his grandchildren, Curtis, Chesapeake and Summer; and his nephew Grant Krause.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Louis Church St Vincent de Paul Pantry, or St Louis Catholic Church.
