He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Paterson and Rita Paterson; his daughter Dawn Paterson; his grandchild Bo; and his brothers, William and Mark.
He is survived by: his spouse Cinthia Broda; his sons, Mike Paterson (Kris) and Jeff Paterson (Nicole); his grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Jade, Harmonie, Alyssa and Kamden; his great grandchildren, McKenna and Brookelynn; and his brothers, David Paterson (Yvonne) and Robert Paterson (Joyce).
