She was predeceased by: her parents, William Reeves and Myrtle Belle Waters (Reames); her brother William Waters; and her daughter-in-law Lanice Gaylord. She is survived by: her husband William Ralph Gaylord; her children, Terry Gaylord (Tammy) of Weaverville, Trent Gaylord (Connie Kelly) of Grand Rapids and Tammy Perkins (Woody) of Fort Worth, Texas; and her nieces and nephews, Duane Waters, Christina Mae Horrigan, III, Angel and Norma Kangas (Martin) of Harrietta. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Harrietta Historical Museum, Hospice of Michigan Cadillac Chapter, and Cadillac Area Land Conservancy or to the Wurtsmith Air Museum in Oscoda that was originally named after Wilma's Uncle Walter Reames.

“I left a message on behalf of my father as well. My greatest sympathy to Bill. I will never forget Wilma and Bill visiting my grandmother's house for coffee or pasta. Also riding in their convertible in the Blueberry Festival parade as a young girl pulling my grandmother in a giant bowl of pasta. Wilma and Bill always treated my siblings and I so kindly giving us gifts at holidays. Wilma will be greatlt missed by those who knew her she truly touched many people's lives. 😔”

“My condolences to Bill, Terry, Trent and Tammy and other family and friends. Wilma was such a close and dear friend of my mother who passed in 2010. She would quite offen visit after visiting the post office next door to my mom's house. This delighted my mother and brought her much joy as they shared local gossip over coffee and cake. My mother was a member of the Red Hat Society along with Wilma and they much enjoyed outings and eating out together. I will never forget her kindness. - anthony kerzich”
