He is survived by: his wife Linda Deuman; his children, Dawn Coon (Tim) of Cadillac, Josh Gottschall (Beth) of Cadillac, Will Gottschall (Kerrie) of Harrietta and Melissa Coyne (Brad) of Harrietta; his grandchildren, Chris, Betsey, Travis, Danny, Brandon, Tyler, Isabella, Megan, Allie and Lilly; his great grandchildren, Camden and Jeremiah "Roy"; and his siblings, Nolan Gottschall (Debbie), Dan Gottschall (Sharon) and Marje Marvez.
