It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Kangas (Harrietta, Michigan), born in Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on April 14, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kangas and Rosalia Kangas (Johnson); his wife Marion Marie Kangas (Bigger); his sons, Martin and Mark Kangas; and his sisters, Roberta Kangas and Patricia Rumph.
He is survived by: his children, John Kangas (Lori), Penny Oram (Bill), Walter Kangas (Deb), Brian Kangas (Amanda) and Sharon Dines; and his siblings, Sandra Meyering (Bernard), Carol Foster (Dan), Martin Kangas (Norma) and JoAnn Klingbeil (Leslie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
