He is survived by: his children, Ginger Soles of Michigan, April Harrell of Tennessee and Sidniray Soles of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Katylynn Roy of Tennessee, David Soles of Kentucky, Julian Harrell of Tennessee and Lillie Harrell of Tennessee; his siblings, Eugene Soles of Alabama, Ruth Crowley (Knott) of Michigan, Walter Soles of Michigan, Myrtle Soles of Michigan, Nancy Meyer of Michigan and Nathan Soles of Michigan; and his former wife Lillie Soles of Kentucky.
