She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Sides and Marie Sides; and her spouses, Clyde Tromm and Estill Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Claudia DeRain (David) and Charles Tromm (Lori); her grandchildren, Eric Gollannek (Capalene), Cindy Lehman (Ari) and Nicole List (David); and her great grandchildren, Alyssa (Tommy), Odin, Willem and Kai.
