Nicolaus Kolasa, born on December 17, 1973, in Warren, Michigan, passed away on January 7, 2024, in Harper Woods, Michigan. Nicolaus was a beloved individual with a kind heart and an infectious personality. His vibrant spirit touched the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Nicolaus had a wide range of interests and hobbies which brought him immense joy throughout his life. He had a passion for collecting various items and treasures that reflected his unique personality.
However, it was not just his hobbies that defined him but also his love for people and his relentless kindness. Nicolaus had a heart full of compassion and empathy. He possessed an unwavering ability to make everyone around him feel loved and cherished through his welcoming nature and genuine smile. He had a unique knack for brightening up any room he entered and spreading positivity wherever he went. He embraced his Polish heritage wholeheartedly and loved talking about his Polish retirement.
Nicolaus is survived by his devoted Life Partner of 14 years, Tina Bittas, he is also mourned by his cousins Keith (Evelyn) Saari, Lucos (Judy) Kolasa, and Alexis Butts, along with many cousins and second cousins who shared lifelong connections with him. He was also like a second father to Tina's children Vaso and Petros. Preceding Nicolaus in death are his beloved parents Nicolaus and Dorothy, and grandparents.
The funeral service to honor the life of Nicolaus Kolasa will take place at Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home & Cremation Services located at 28605 Gratiot Ave, Roseville, MI 48066 on January 15, 2024. The visitation will commence at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 6:00 PM. It is a time for family and friends to come together to remember Nicolaus and pay tribute to a life well-lived. Nicolaus leaves behind a spirit and zest for life will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
