She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Johnson and Bernice Johnson; and her son Steven David Clark. She is survived by: her husband Steven; her sisters, Sandra Para (Don) and Susan Houseman (Jon); her children, Elizabeth Horen (Mark) and Christopher Clark (Amanda); and her grandchildren, Dustin Horen and Logan Clark.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Sharon's memory be made to the Thorne Swift Nature Preserve or the Harbor Springs Library.
