With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orland K. Thayer of Harbor Springs, Michigan, born in Shepherd, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thayer and Ethel Thayer. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brother Randy of Lake Placid, Florida; his daughter Sharon Ballou (Robert) of Adrian; his grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail, Jared, Gideon, Jonathan and Leah; his daughter Diane Munson (Nels) of Petoskey; his grandchildren, Brooke, Bree and Tyler; and his daughter Brenda Barnes (Arthur) of Harbor Springs.
