Matthew Carter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2022, at the age of 58, Matthew Carter of Harbor Springs, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent R. Hyatt Carter. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Hume (Gallagher); his children, Allison Gascho (Nick) of Ypsilanti, MI and Matthew C. Carter of Mt. Pleasant, MI; the mother of his children Amy; his mother-in-law Susan Lightfoot; and his siblings, William, Peter, Mark Carter (Mollie), Katheryn Ransford and Laurissa Weadland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
