She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Malec and Julia Malec; her husband Edward Paul Kelbel, Sr.; her son Edward Paul Kelbel, Jr.; and her siblings, Louis Malec, Raymond Malec, John Malec, Edward Malec, Helen Dyksterhouse, Lucille Newton and Catherine Donnelly.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Leik of Greensboro, NC, Mark Kelbel (Audrey) of Colorado Springs, Pete Kelbel (Linda) of Petoskey, Sue Ortlieb (Todd) of Petoskey and Mollie Carter (Mark) of Harbor Springs; her daughter-in-law Rosemary Kelbel (Mary Lou) of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren, Dr. Ted Kelbel (Katie), Tricia Brockett (Dane), Cassie Mabe (Dusty), Emily Cornella (Scott), Chandler Jasperse (Chris), Remy, Karris, John Kelbel, Mackenzie, Peter, Grace Kelbel, Cal Ortlieb (Kenzie), Emma Ortlieb, Jack and Caroline Carter; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Claire, Amelia Kelbel, Sloan, Ambrose, Bode Brockett, Archer, Anderson Mabe, Emmett, Louise Cornella and Rhett Jasperse; her sister Patricia Kelbel (Jim); and also Mary Lou. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
