It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LeRoy M Thrush of Harbor Springs, Michigan, born in Sheridan, Michigan, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Thrush and Beatrice Thrush (Morse); his wife Thelma Bishop; his children, Calvin (Candace) and Anne; his grandchildren, Haley and Jonathan; his great grandchildren, Atticus and Kendall; and his sister Lorna. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

While there, LeRoy ran a program for 22 years (1978-2000) through the Sears-Roebuck Foundation, teaching Elementary aged children about safety.

“My thoughts & prayers to Thelma & family. I wil miss LeRoy so very much!! While I haven't visited LeRoy as much as I should have, I was blessed to have prayed with him prior to his passing. I loved LeRoy's cartoons (attached) & sense of humor, his stories & the many adventures he had during his lifetime. LeRoy's love of Roy Rogers & Trigger.
