He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Davis Brasfield and Florence Pauline Brasfield; his brothers, Donald and Robert Brasfield; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Brasfield and Ann Lee Gardner.

He is survived by: his friend Lee; his wife Sandra Brasfield of Harbor Springs; his children, Rod Brasfield (Deb) of Pinellas Park, FL, John Brasfield (Cathy) of Chesaning, MI, Lisa Yates (Robert) of Harbor Springs, MI and Ken Brasfield (Valerie) of Parrish, FL; his grandchildren, James Carter (Tonya), David Carter, Ryan Carter (Charlie Cuozzo), Amanda Brasfield, Derek Yates (Katie Bush), Rachel Frye (Ryan), Katie Yates-Blenner (David Blenner), James Brasfield, Lydia Brasfield (Amber Tarrant), Emily Gregory (Cody), Lucas Brasfield (Jessica) and Lacey Brasfield; and also Derek. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, Kenneth's family asks that you consider planting a tree in his memory or making a donation to one of the following organizations: The United Methodist Church of Harbor Springs, McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation Home Care and Hospice, and the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
