With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helmut Schluender of Harbor Springs, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Helmut left this world on September 26, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Schluender and Georg Schluender. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Georg (April Schluender) and Erika (Randy Kloss); and his grandchildren, Brock Kloss, Blain Kloss, Brett Kloss and Sage Schluender.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stone Funeral Home (2098 E Mitchell Rd, Petoskey, MI 49770). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery Cemetery (7577 Cemetery Rd, Harbor Springs, MI 49740).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Little Traverse Bay Humane Society in memory of Helmut.
