We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2022, at the age of 78, Frederick Richard Hansen of Harbor Springs, Michigan, born in Big Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hansen and Yonne Hansen (Mathewson); his sister Barbara Ann Franquist; his niece Victoria; his nephew Donald Franquist; and his grandmother Charlotte Mathewson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hansen; his children, Dr. Wendy Hansen-Walker (Robinson Walker) and Kirk Hansen (Julie McAllister-Hansen); his grandchildren, Dr. Margaret "Maggie" Rose Walker, David Robinson Walker and Mathewson Frederick Walker; and his nieces and nephews, Paul, Jon and Laurie Franquist.
A memorial is planned for the family at Rick's beloved hunt club, The Mosquito Ranch, in April or when weather and COVID permit.
