He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward J. Koza and Elizabeth Koza (Schwarm); his daughter Cathy; his wife Judith W. Koza; his daughters, Catherine K. Moore (Joel) of Harbor Springs and Leslie K. Gasser (Peter) of Roland Park; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Polly, Dillon, Ashton, Nicholas and Patrick; and his sisters, Martha Sekunda and Betty Jane Koza. He was also cherished by 9 great grandchildren.

The Family suggests any memorial contributions be directed to Holy Childhood of Jesus Church of Harbor Springs, St. Michael Academy of Petoskey, or the Little Traverse Conservancy.
