He was predeceased by: his wife Alene; and his sons, Thomas Hickman and Clyde Hickman. He is survived by: his parents, Frederick "Seymour" and Martha Lewis (Barnard); and his children, Gary Hickman (Mary) of Harbor Springs and Jayne Weller (Duke) of Butler. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
