Russell J. Franzel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, at the age of 70, Russell J. Franzel of Harbor Beach, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Russell may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Russell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lincoln Franzel and Pearl Franzel (Oswald); and his brothers, Ronald Franzel and Richard Franzel. He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Franzel of Minden City, Mary Lou Peruski (Ken) of Bad Axe, Susan Woodard (William) of Snover and Kay Essenmacher (Chris) of Harbor Beach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the STS Peter and Paul Catholic Church (7115 E Atwater Rd, Ruth, MI 48470). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
