He was predeceased by: his parents, George DeFrain and Catherine DeFrain (Murray); and his stepdaughter Gloria Martin (Art). He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Robinson (Shawn) of Brutus, MI and Lori Holdwick (Carl) of Ruth. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Cross in the Woods, and Leader Dog for the Blind.
