She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schelke and Elizabeth Schelke (Golding); her former husband William "Bill" Klump; her brother Larry Schelke; and her in-laws, Arthur Tank, Gloria Schelke and Genevieve Todd.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Hicks; her children, Sarah Johnson (Scott) and Edward Klump (Jennifer); her granddaughters, Kaylee Johnson, Grace Klump and Paige Johnson; her stepchildren, James Lashua (Mercy), Jeff Lashua (Liz) and Jessica Hicks; her stepgrandsons, Ian Hicks, Martin and Thomas Lashua; her siblings, E. Lea Schelke, Ann Schelke, Jill Terrill (Mike), Jack Schelke (Phyllis), Don Schelke (Tamie) and Richard Schelke (Guylynn); and her sister-in-law Darlene Schelke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ramsey Funeral Home (425 State St, Harbor Beach, MI 48441). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
