He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemens "Tim" Kranz and Lillian Kranz; and his brother-in-law Paul Essenmacher (Carol). He is survived by: his wife Elaine (Essenmacher); his children, Noelle Essig (Rick), Jesse Kranz (Kelly) and Jason Kranz; his grandchildren, Hannah (Ben), Andrew, Kyle, Audrey, John, Steven, Grant, Zach and Griffen; his siblings, Theresa Satchell (Art), Nancy Capling (Steve) and Robert Kranz (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Kirsch (Ron), Joan Sanseverino (Jim), Jerry Essenmacher (Yvonne), Nancy Beniecke (John) and Jean Holdwick (Herb).
