He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Booms and Theresa Booms (Tenbusch); his siblings, Melvin Booms (Esther), Eugene Booms, Vincent Booms, Ralph Booms, Beatrice Bishop (Bill), Gladys Wrubel (Ira), Gertrude Salowitz (Ty), Annabell Wruble (Bernard) and Marie Lange (Don); and his brother-in-law Clarence Woolridge.
He is survived by: his children, Rosaline Vitale (Peter) of Clinton Township, Rochelle Vogel (Gene) of Minden City, Randy Booms (Betsy) of Jenison, Bradley Booms (Mary) of Harbor Beach and Brian Booms (Kelly) of Harbor Beach; his grandchildren, Nick Vitale, Sarah Santana (Julian), Kayla Stone (Nick), Melissa Bischer (Ryan), Jesse Vogel (Maddie), Alisha, Collin Booms, Arika, Andrea Booms, Mason Booms (Ashley), Molly Booms (Levi) and Emily Booms-Lewis (Adam); his great grandchildren, Chloe, Claire Bischer and John Edward Booms; his sisters, Eleanor Woolridge of Eastpointe and Irene Lemanski (Richard) of Harbor Beach; and his sister-in-law Bertha Booms of Harbor Beach. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
