He is survived by: his wife Bonita Shepherd (Dena); his mother Deloris Malone (Roy); his stepdaughters, Shanada (David) of Washington and Lashonda Maduka (Paulo); and his siblings, Maurice Shepherd (Dolvina), Brian Shepherd (LaDawn), Duane Shepherd (Michelle), Kenneth Shepherd and Angela Shepherd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
